DIABETES EDUCATION
At the Organic Acid Clinic, we use a patient-centered approach and educate our patients on the necessary lifestyle changes involved in diabetes diagnosis including: nutrition, medication, physical activity and glucose testing.
National Diabetes Prevention Program.
The National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) is a partnership of public and private organizations working to prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. It is a public health program that supports healthy lifestyle changes for adults who are at risk for developing type 2 diabetes. At the Organic Acid Clinic we offer support for people at risk for type 2 diabetes to participate in evidence-based lifestyle change programs to reduce their risk of type 2 diabetes. ORGANIC ACID THERAPY
Organic acids are a broad class of compounds formed during fundamental metabolic processes in the body. Metabolic reactions produce these compounds from the digestion of dietary protein, fat, and carbohydrates. The resulting organic acids are used by the body to generate cellular energy and provide many of the building blocks necessary for cell function. CHOLESTEROL THERAPY
